Services: Workforce Development

MORE THAN A STORE. WE PUT PEOPLE TO WORK.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Goodwill provides a wide range of training, placement and workforce development services to help people with disabilities and other employment disadvantages (such as lack of education, veterans and ex-offenders re-entering the workforce) develop the skills needed to find jobs.

These services are offered at Goodwill’s Workforce Development Center at 3400 Tulane Avenue, Suite 1000, in New Orleans, and are provided in partnership with a number of community partners. Training classes are offered to help build soft skills, develop entry-level skills, learn computer and broadband basics, and help you improve in areas where you may need development. Even though some of these programs have eligibility requirements, one might be right for you. We will try to help you meet the requirements.

Once you successfully complete one of Goodwill’s training programs, we’re there to assist with job placement and retention services. Contact Goodwill’s Workforce Development Department today for more information at 456-3925.
