Goodwill is the operator of JOB1, the city of New Orleans’s one stop employment services center. The following services are offered through JOB1.
• Youth
o Provides paid/unpaid Work Experience, Summer Employment Opportunities, Employment & Career Counseling, GED Preparation, Training, Adult Mentoring, Alternative Secondary School Service, Occupational Skills Training and Tutoring.
• Adult & Dislocated Workers
o Provides training and job placement assistance to adults and dislocated workers.

Goodwill Industries Week Celebrates
63 Years of Service in Southeast Louisiana -
As it commemorates Goodwill Industries® Week (May 2 – 8) and 63 years of service, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc. (Goodwill) is seeking donations of gently used clothing, house-wares and monetary pledges so it can continue to provide job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who need them most.
