StepterBefore coming to Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc., 27-year-old Adell Stepter never had a job. Today, he’s one of Goodworks’ most dependable and punctual employees and has missed only one day of work in his eight years on the job. Adell was referred to Goodwill Industries by Louisiana Rehabilitation Services. He was initially partnered with a job coach and has since blossomed into one of the most productive of Goodworks’ janitorial team members. He takes great pride in his work and has helped to train and mentor new clients.
Supervisors and co-workers say he’s driven by a positive attitude and a willingness to help others. “He’s an absolute joy to work with and inspires everyone around him,” says Bobbie White, Vice President of Contracts.

Goodwill Industries Week Celebrates
63 Years of Service in Southeast Louisiana -
As it commemorates Goodwill Industries® Week (May 2 – 8) and 63 years of service, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc. (Goodwill) is seeking donations of gently used clothing, house-wares and monetary pledges so it can continue to provide job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who need them most.
